Our Processing Facilities
Eastwood Stone has been producing and exporting natural stone since 2005. Our four factories are located close to the raw material, in Fujian, Shandong and Tianjin, and each one concentrates on the stones it knows best. This keeps transport of heavy blocks short, keeps quality consistent, and lets us ship through the nearest port.
Our four factories
Granite and marble factory
Near Xiamen Port in South China. Produces slabs, tiles, cut-to-size work, countertops and vanity tops in granite and marble, including imported Volakas and Carrara blocks. Handles most of our project orders made to drawings.
Black and coloured granite factory
In Maji Town, close to the granite quarries of southern Shandong. Specialises in black granite and other granite colours for paving, kerbs, steps, wall cladding and building stone, with flamed, bush-hammered, honed and polished finishes.
Bluestone and sandstone factory
In Zifa Town, the centre of China's bluestone production. Makes bluestone and sandstone tiles, pavers, pool coping, steps, mailboxes, planters and other landscape products.
Slate and cultured stone factory
Established in 2002. Produces ledger wall panels with matching corners, mesh-backed paving, crazy paving, slate tiles and roofing slate for the North American, European and Australian markets.
Equipment
Our factories cover the full process from raw block to finished, packed product:
- Gang saws for cutting blocks into slabs with even thickness, used mainly for marble and granite slabs.
- Diamond wire saws for squaring blocks and for large or thick pieces such as steps, blocks and monuments.
- CNC cutting machines for curved pieces, pool coping, countertop cut-outs, medallions and other work made to drawings.
- Automatic chamfering and edge machines for bevelled, eased and bullnose edges, so edges stay uniform across large orders.
Surface finishing lines then produce polished, honed, flamed, bush-hammered, sandblasted and tumbled finishes as required.
People and quality
More than 80 people work in our factories and quarries. Many of our cutters, finishers and inspectors have been with us for years and know the materials and the standards our customers expect. Each order is checked for size, thickness, flatness, finish and colour before it is packed in fumigated or heat-treated crates.
Since 2005 we have supplied importers, distributors and contractors mainly in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. Many of these customers have ordered from us for years, and they keep coming back because the quality stays the same from one container to the next. Factory visits are welcome, and photos or videos of your goods can be sent before loading.
